A lively first half with City having slightly the better of the chances. A cross knocked across from the right resulted in a goal for City (0-1). Not sure why the German lino is not running. Yet another bad decision towards the end of the first half, the referee ignoring the off side flag, allowed play to continue for the Freiburg equaliser (1-1). City must learn to play to the ref's whistle. So a disgruntled City team left the pitch at half time.
Referee continued to be poor in the second half with many bad decisions leading to an increasingly fractious game. City appeal for penalty not given. Fouls against City players repeatedly not given. Mood getting worse.
Foul by Freiburg player results in straight red card.
Second City penalty shout not given. Coaches have had enough as match ends in confusion all caused by an inept ref.
